Minor court ladies wore this costume during the period from the 13th year of the Emperor Tenmu's reign through the beginning days of the Emperor Jito's reign. They wore the costume laying Ho top of inner clothes with the left side under the right using a neck ribbon and a long sash. They also wore detached long skirt which had a fringe or frillaround the rim of skirt. B angs were not worn and the bottom end of their their straight hair was tied up around the neck.
